Prema from near Airport, Coimbatore made a bold transition from teaching to entrepreneurship, driven by her passion for healthy eating. After saving diligently for over a decade, she decided to venture into producing nutritious millet-based noodles using ragi (finger millet), samai (little millet), and thinai (foxtail millet) and so on.
Her journey was far from easy. In the first three months, she experimented extensively, leading to the wastage of nearly 200 kilograms of flour. Yet, her determination and creativity paid off. Today, Prema’s brand, Narpavy, generates monthly sales of approximately ₹2 lakhs, reflecting both the market’s growing appetite for healthier alternatives and her perseverance in building a successful food business from scratch.
Prema’s story is a testament to resilience, innovation, and consistent effort, showing how obstacles can be transformed into thriving opportunities with vision and dedication.
